The Order of Your Exercises is Important

Order of Exercises Hits: 3104

The order in which you perform exercises in a routine is important. The arrangement of your exercises depends on what body part you are working and your overall goals. Here are some basic tips you should follow when designing your workout routine.

Train Larger Muscle groups first

Make sure you train larger muscle groups such as back, thighs, and chest first. These muscle groups require more energy to get positive results. By training these muscles first, you will help your smaller muscles from becoming fatiqued. Smaller muscles such as biceps, and triceps should be trained last.

Train your weaker body part first

In this method you should always train lagging body parts first. For example: If you upper chest is underdeveloped, you should perform incline bench first. This insures that most of your energy goes toward improving your weaker body part.
