Chicken-Almond Canapes

Ingredients :

3/4 cup chopped chicken
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup grated Switzerland Swiss cheese
1 tsp chopped gherkin
Salt and pepper to taste
Mayonnaise to moisten
Buttered toast rounds
Sliced blanched almonds optional


Procudures

Mix the chicken with almonds and grated cheese. Add the gherkin and salt and pepper to taste. If the paste is not bound together, add a little mayonnaise to hold it. Pile on buttered toast rounds and grill under a low flame. You may top this with a slice of blanched almond if you wish.

Ingredients :

6 ounces low fat/fat free cream cheese
6 ounces regular cream cheese
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
Coarsely chopped red or green pepper

Sausage Cheese Balls

Ingredients :

2 pounds sausage
1-1/2 cups all purpose baking/biscuit mix
4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped cooked broccoli
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp of garlic powder


Procudures

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Form into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Sausage cheese balls can be frozen uncooked. Thaw and cook according to directions.
